Merry Christmas
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are at the end of another year. 2018 is waving goodbye and 2019 is saying hello. We all faced many challenges in 2018, but we got the victory in Jesus. God was truly faithful.
This is the season that so many people experience depression and loneliness because they lose focus on the reason for the season, which is Jesus Christ. He’s the greatest gift that the world could ever receive. Here’s the formula ABC,
A. You must accept him as your Lord and savior.
B. You must believe that he’s the son of god.
C. You must confess that you are a sinner.
Roman10:9 tells us that if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. Salvation is the most precious gift that you can receive. The word tells us in John 3:16 for god so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Christmas is not about receiving, it’s about giving, as children of God we are commanded to love one another. John 13:34 a new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
So as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ examine yourselves and ask God to help you to be an effective witness and kingdom builder, the word tells us to go into all the world and preach the kingdom of God.
