He's risen he's risen Matthew 28:1-6 in the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Mag-da-le'ne and the other Mary to see the sepulcher. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for the angel of the lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow; and for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, fear not ye; for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here; for he is risen, as he said, come, see the place where the lord lay.
Hallelujah we are celebrating a risen savior, he lives he lives. He came that we may have life and a more abundant life. People are out getting Easter outfits, Easter baskets etc, but it's not about the outfits nor the eggs and the bunny, it's all about what the lord did for you and I what a mighty God we serve. He gave his only son as a ransom for our sins and the sins of the world.
God love us so that he gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we could be redeemed back to him. We are to love as God loved, one of his greatest commandment was for us to love one another as he has loved us. I pray we never forget what the lord has done for us we owe a debt we could never repay.
I challenge you to tell someone about Jesus. I wish everyone a happy and blessed Easter. May Jesus precious blood cover you today and forever. Love you in Jesus name.
